There are two multiple listing services (MLS) in Atlanta.  Innovations Realty Group is a member of both First MLS (FMLS) and Georgia MLS (GaMLS). 

What's the difference between the two services?
  • Historically, FMLS was for listed real estate NORTH and WEST of Atlanta
  • Historically, GaMLS was for listed real estate SOUTH and EAST of Atlanta
  • Membership requirements vary:   FMLS charges members a fee per transaction.  GaMLS charges members a monthly fee.  Brokers have the option to join either company, both or neither. 
  • Since Atlanta has grown over the years, both FMLS and GaMLS have overlapping areas and cover all areas. 
  • Some houses may be in one, both, or neither of the listing services.
  • If a MLS# starts with a 3 - search in FMLS
  • If a MLS# starts with 01 or 02 - search in GaMLS
